Vacation - Day 15

So my mother has a cousin that's not really a cousin but maybe he is!

Confused? So was I!

Karl-Heinz Maier is a relative of mine. A relatively distant relative, but a relative nonetheless. Plus, he has his own restaurant in Riedheim, Germany!

I just had to visit him and see what his kitchen was all about.

When I got there, we went straight into the kitchen where for the first time I saw an induction range - the coolest piece of equipment ever.

Karl-Heinz is a great guy and he was more than willing to share recipes, tips and experiences. He also told me that I am absolutely insane to wanna go work in the culinary field.
But after 2 hours of chatting I think he realized that I got the bug...
In the end he vowed continued, unconditional support.

So, If you're ever in or near Riedheim make sure you check out his restaurant.
