DUCK YOU !

When I was about 6 years old my mom and dad on a roadtrip through France thought it was time to introduce me to duck.
Big mistake!
My world back then was ruled by the likes of Mickey Mouse, Tom, Jerry and of course Donald Duck.

Over the years I had duck here and there. A high end sandwich place in my neighborhood makes a mean Duck Confit Sandwich, there's good duck in Chinatown, great duck at Vong, excellent duck at Lulu's in San Francisco - and now there's finally decent duck in my kitchen.

We made duck a l'orange today. Orange is French for orange. So it was duck with an orange sauce.
It was awesome. Had I known at six years old what I know now, I would have whacked Donald myself.
