Family Time...

Finally! Back to what we all like the best and do the best! Family meal.
We kept it simple today - kind of a meat'n'potato kinda day.
Skirt Steak with Potato Salad, String Beans, Salad etc.

The night started out with a fire drill at 6:30. It was an announced drill so of course everything went smoothly. We were out in the blistering cold for about 10 minutes listening to some fire marshal's sermon about alarms, call boxes and 911.
After that it was off to the classroom for another written test. This time we were asked to give the recipe for the lemon tart we just made a week ago. Thank god it was still in my memory and I think I did quite good.

After we were done erving family meal at about 9pm we did some prep for Thursday.
We'll have pork, chicken and vegetarian enchiladas! Yum.
