Table 20

Table 20 was a VIP table tonight. The VIP was my wonderful girlfriend, her sister, her brother and their respective husband/wife.
I said it before, being in the kitchen is more fun when there's friends or family in the dining room - and this time it was no different.
I actually managed to join them at their table at the end of the night, and there it was again, that happiness that comes with people reacting positively to food you helped create.

Tonight the feeling of "Yes, I'm doing the right thing here" was as strong as it hasn't been in a while.
