Back in the Level I kitchen...

Today was my first day at the FCI...as a teacher. Well, as an assistant teacher.
I was asked to join the team and gladly accepted.

It's great to be back and to see the workings of the school from another perspective. I will give you some updates along the way.

This is it...

After weeks of ignoring my blog for a million reasons, I can proudly announce that I am now a chef!
That's right, I graduated wednesday and finally get to wear the big chef's hat - which by the way barely fits over my melon of a head.
What's next in my carreer remains open, I will go to Germany for 2 weeks and not think about the future until I get back.

Now that school is over and I have my Saturday nights back, I gotta say that time flew (I guess indicating that I did have fun doing this).
The people I met along the way will be forever in my heart - or at least in my address book.
Friendships that I hope will never end have formed. Not just with other students, but with some faculty members too.

This was a great experience and I would always do it again.

This blog will go on, I will let you know what's next as soon as I know!

PS: The guy that some of you prayed for was the guest of honor at our graduation. He has a long road ahead of him but he is fine - and he will be even finer.

I need your help

One of my classmates had an accident, he fell, hit his head and went into a coma. This happened last night while he was out with friends.
He means a lot to me - is almost like a brother to me.

And so, even though I am not a religious person, I ask you to say a prayer for him.

I love you man - get well, I can't wait to eat in your restaurant.
