Home at last...
As I have described in my previous entry, I did a lot of commuting these last couple of days. The last 24 hours were sheer insanity. And a lot of fun.
Friday and Saturday I was up in Boston again, this time when I left on Saturday, I was smart enough to do so by train. I got back to New York with plenty of time before class started. I studied for Saturdays test on the train which was very relaxing and effective - I think I did pretty well.
The only problem was that in order to see my dog in the ring Sunday morning I had to take a 3:15am train back to Boston arriving there at 8:15am.
Lucky me! About half the class went out for drinks after school and I ended up almost late for my train.
We had a ball. Fortunately the cheese souffles we made in class that night proved to be a good foundation for the drinking we did. It really was tons of fun.
Our souffles turned out beautifully too. We made one with chocolate, one with cheese and some mousses of white and dark chocolates.
A little too much sweet stuff, but good nonetheless.
Overall it was a great weekend, my dog proved to be a true champion and won one competition after another.
Now I've been up for about 32 hours and it's time for a nap...
