A decision is made...

At the tender age of 36 it finally dawned on me! I need to work in the food industry. "Industry" sounds scary - makes one think of culinary outposts such as the one with the golden arches.
I am of course thinking more along the lines of culinary arts. Having finished an 8 week program at the French Culinary Institute here in Manhattan I was left longing for more.
After weeks of torturing myself and everybody around me, the decision came abruptly and with more conviction than I have brought up for anything else I can remember.

So here the Journey begins - I am using this method to allow you to be there with me - through thick and thin, if you will.
