What the hell happened?

I don't know what went wrong today. It was one of those days where everybody ran around like a headless chicken anxiously awaiting orders as to what to do next.
It really sucked big time. Then, to make matters worse, the food we cooked kinda sucked too.
Well that's my opinion.
Really though, we spent a lot of time making a stuffing that was rolled up in these nice flat pieces of beef only to end up with a bone-dry lump of meat.
The sauce helped a little, but still - the end result was not what I was hoping for.

Chef wasn't too pleased either. Lack of teamwork she said. She has a point - I know I need to make more of an effort in that department.
Then, to put a nice finishing touch on the day, I gave myself a nasty cut on the side of my index finger.
I know it sounds pathetic but the combination of things put me on the verge of a nervous breakdown...

Now I'm home, my girlfriend is on the couch saying beautiful things to me, my dog sits next to me, I'm sipping on a dirty Martini (Stoli, 3 olives) - and slowly but surely my world becomes a little more perfect.
