Back in Pastry
This time around pastry seems a lot more enjoyable than last time. I think it's because we are now more familiar with the pastry kitchen and with our pastry chef.
He's great because he let's us do a bunch of stuff that's not necessarily on the curriculum. At the same time I had some problems with that freedom in the beginning because I missed the structure that the other stations demanded.
Anyway - like I said, right now I'm having a ball.
Tonight we made orange flavored baignets, filled with orange pastry cream. Very, very delicious.
